I’m not Housito, but I send you this link:

House M.D. Boards – Powered by vBulletin?

I think there’re many others more.
You can search with google, for instance „house md forum“ or something like this.
    Have fun!

I learned English reading fanfics. It improved my vocabulary really fast and you also learn which context requires certain words.
And it’s definitely worth the effort. Once you start watching TV series in English and actually understand the most of it you wouldn’t even think of watching the German version ever again. It’s so much better :D

Hey thats true I am absolutely agree with you.
Reading the stuff you are interested in gives the mod to read topics in english, and there is also LEO, which can help you by reading medical fanfiction like HOUSE …
So sorry for my bad english but I am also in a lerning process and in a phase to amplify my english….
Therefore I would like to say a special thank to member, who made this theme possible:D

I learn English since 7 years at school. It’s really my favorit subject. Sometimes I wish I would be English. I love this language much more than German, and so I often watch films in English. In some moments I don’t know the German text, but the English one.

I hope my speeking, writing and so on will become as good as possible in the future.

Hehe, that happens to me quite a lot when I’ve been on the internet for a while (where – except for this message board – almost all the sites I visit regularly are English ones), or when I’ve read an English text and try to tell someone about it. I just stopped conciously translating things back into German a while back, so even if I know the exact meaning of an English sentence it can happen that I just can’t find the proper German words for it.

I’m sooo looking forward to AUGUST.. High School Year in the USA, yay.
And this whole „I only know it in english“-thing happens to me everytime I have to translate something in Latin xD

Well, my brain is able to separate Latin from English, but Spanish from English…no way. :D
I watch the English House episodes, too. However, when my mum asks me something after finishing watching the show, I have to bite my tongue not to answer in English.
    It’s weird.

Once in a while it even happens to me that I heard something in German and when I’m telling it to someone an hour later I only remember it in English ?(
Plus there were times in which I often translated something on German TV back into English, in the beginning only originally English stuff but later on originally German stuff, too =) Fortunately I got rid of a while ago because after a while it gets quite annoying^^

I mostly avoid watching German TV it’s just not any good and with the dubbed stuff I‘ incredibly impatient because I often sense where they screwed up the translation.
Sometimes after listening and speaking English all day long (university) I find it hard to switch back to German. Luckily I don’t have to switch back to much :)
It really becomes second nature to talk in English in class and you just have to think about what to say and the how is done on the go.

Dasselbe ist der Fall mit mir
Sprechen, Hören englischer Sprache den ganzen Tag wollen nicht die Sprache
